MY INDEPENDENCE

INDEPENDENCE IS HAPPINESS.
BEING SOMEONE THAT MAKES US HAPPY IS THE REAL INDEPENDENCE.
WHEN WE DO NOT GET CAGED BY THE PERCEPTION OF OTHERS AND JUST MOVE AND WALK AND KEEP WALKING ON THE ROADS OF SELF-BELIEF IS WHEN WE ATTAIN INDEPENDENCE.
REAL INDEPENDENCE RESTS IN OUR MINDS,THOUGHTS AND PERCEPTIONS.
WE CAN BE CAGED PHYSICALLY BUT BEING CAGED IN OUR OWN THOUGHTS AND DEEDS IS SOLELY IN OUR HANDS.
THE COLOR OF THIS INDEPENDENCE IS BRIGHT.
IT LIT UP OUR LIVES.
IT MAKES OUR HEARTS GLOW WHICH IS THEN REFLECTED IN OUR DEEDS.
INDEPENDENCE IS A CHANCE TO GET BETTER DAY BY DAY,MORE BETTER TILL WE FEEL THE CHANGE.
TO FIND THE REAL US AND TO DISCOVER OUR SOUL IS WHERE THE REAL INDEPENDENCE BEGIN.
STAY INDEPENDENT ,STAY HAPPY!!!

A VERY HAPPY INDEPENDENCE  DAYTO ALL MY LOVELY FRIENDS

Know Thy English: Advice vs Advise

confusion

UDAYOLOGY

This is a very simple mistake that I come across from time to time so thought I’d clear it once and for all.

Now, repeat after me –

Advice – Noun
Advise – Verb

Some folks, I can only suppose, are not even aware of the two forms and use ‘advice’ in both the scenarios which is incorrect.

So, when you want to say:

He gave me an advice.

You use the one with the ‘c’.

But when you want to say:

Please advise on the below.

You use the one with the ‘s’.

See? Easy peasy!!

Another word with such conundrum is practice. Again the same rules apply:

Practice – Noun
Practise – Verb

Peace out!
